Notes for use of older products on newer Mac computers

• Older installers may trigger a "cannot check..." warning on newer versions of macOS.
  You can bypass the warning by right-clicking the installer package and choosing "open"
  This will give you the option to dismiss the warning and continue with the install - an option not available if you open the installer with a double-click or command+o.
  
  
• Older software such as VocALign Project 3 and VocALign Pro 4 contain intel code only.
  If the computer you're installing the legacy software on on is an Apple Silicon / M series mac, you can still run the software, but only in the Rosetta Intel Compatibility Layer.
  To use the plug-ins in a digital audio workstation that has both Apple Silicon and Intel modes, you'll want to make sure Rosetta is enabled - this can be toggled with the "open using Rosetta" checkbox in the Digital Audio Workstation application's "get info" (command+i) pane in the Finder.
  
  

VocAlign Ultra and VocAlign Project 5 Legacy

• These are only available as legacy downloads for older versions of macOS, as there is a compatibility cutoff for more recent versions of the plugins.
• Windows does not have a similar compatibility cutoff, and so legacy downloads are not available.
  
  
• The most recent version for both macOS and Windows are found on the Plugins page in-account.
  
  Visibility of these downloads requires the presence of either a new-type license in your account or a connected iLok ID which contains a valid/full license.
