Plug-Ins may not load at all, or throw errors on load if BitWig's plugin cache is corrupt.
This can sometimes happen if BitWig scans a plug-in while the plugin is being installed.
It's best to fully quit BitWig Studio before installing any plugins for this reason.
These issues may be resolved by deleting BitWig Studio's plugin cache so that it can rescan your plugins.
Please follow these steps:
1) Close/quit BitWig Studio
2) Delete the following folder and file:
macOS:
The folder /Users/your_username/Library/Application Support/Bitwig/Bitwig Studio/index
The file /Users/your_username/Library/Caches/Bitwig/vst-metadata
Windows:
The folder C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Local\BitwigStudio\index
The File: C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Local\BitwigStudio\cache\vst-metadata
3) Open BitWig Studio again and allow it to re-scan your plug-ins.
Please ensure that you have the latest versions of the iLok License Manager (if you have one of our older iLok licenses) your Synchro Arts plugins and your Digital Audio Workstation installed.
