VocAlign was designed to align different vocal takes, or audio tracks of a similar nature - for example, backing vocals to a lead vocal.
VocAlign may perform well also with other monophonic (single line) audio signals such as guitars, horns and strings - but not chords, or combined signals in a mixed track.

For this reason, VocAlign is best used on separate tracks during the multitrack production stage - before the final mix.
