What are upgrades and crossgrades, and how do they work for Synchro Arts products?
Upgrades and Crossgrades are special offers for owners of most recent Synchro Arts products, granting them a discounted price when purchasing another product.
Upgrades are discounts for software in the same product line — For example, upgrading from VocAlign Project 5 to VocAlign 6.
Crossgrades are discounts for software in other product lines — For example, a discount on RePitch when you already own VocAlign or Revoice Pro.
Here are the Upgrade paths for Synchro Arts products:
- VocAlign 6 Pro - Upgradable from VocALign Project 3, VocAlign Project 5, VocAlign 6 Standard, VocALign Pro 4, and Vocalign Ultra
- VocAlign 6 Standard - Upgradable from VocALign Project 3, VocAlign Project 5, and VocALign Pro 4
- RePitch Standard: Upgradable from RePitch Elements

Is there any important information I need to know before upgrading or crossgrading?
Upgrade and Crossgrade licenses require the presence of a full/permanent license for the product you're upgrading/crossgrading from.
If the license you're upgrading/crossgrading from is in the form of an iLok license from our old system, the iLok ID that contains that license needs to be connected to your Synchro Arts account.
- Note that older products like VocAlign Project 3, VocAlign Pro 4, and Revoice Pro 4 won't appear on the new Plugins page (they can be found in our legacy installers article) but will still unlock upgrade and crossgrade pricing when an iLok ID that contains them is connected.

The new license you will receive is not an iLok code — the connection feature can only detect old licenses so that we can offer download links and/or upgrade pricing.
With the new licensing system, your license code will be entered into the software directly — into the plugin for VocAlign or RePitch, or into the standalone app for Revoice Pro.
How do I know which discounts are available to me?
With an eligible product in your Synchro Arts account, or in a connected iLok ID, you will see discount badges next to the product names on your Plugins page.
These will apply automatically in-cart if you go to make a new purchase.
